Environmental Protection Services, Inc. also offers customers the opportunity to dechlorinate energized PCB transformers through our PCBX^SMprocess. PCBX^SM is the only mobile EPA-permitted process for chemically treating PCB oil.

With over 40 million gallons of reclaimed, dechlorinated oil already processed since 1981, PCBX^SM has proven to be an effective method for PCB destruction in mineral oil.

Bulk oil shipments for our PCBX^SM process is an economic alternative to PCB oil incineration. Environmental Protection Services, Inc. is permitted by the EPA to dechlorinate PCB oil up to 14,499 ppm PCB. Our barcode system also has the ability track each shipment of oil designated for dechlorination at EPS. With over 40 million gallons of chemically treated and reclaimed oil processed since 1981, PCBX^SM has proven to be an effective method for PCB destruction in mineral oil.

After the oil is chemically treated and reclaimed, the customer receives a Certificate of Disposal for each shipments assuring them that EPS properly treated their waste oil and removed their liability.
